Pioneer Water Tanks was established in 1988 with one goal in mind which was to supply and install a water tank that provided exceptional water quality at a realistic price level that also eliminated all of the problems associated with conventional tanks.

Galaxy Tank

Our most recent introduction in water storage facilities has been the GALAXY range of water tanks. Over two years have been invested into research and development of this product, utilising the latest technology and professional advice in ensuring quality. Strength and durability were not compromised in the final product.

The Galaxy Tank has horizontal and vertical ribs of steel increasing its stability to withstand the most severe winds, earth movements and earthquakes.

The horizontal panel profile is termed an 8-80 V LOCK, consisting of a ‘V’ Profile in the steel at 80mm centres. The ‘V’ is 25mm wide on the face of the tank and 8mm deep. The vertical profile consists of a ‘U’ shaped girt that when bolted to the tank panels vertical lap joint it forms an interlocking mechanism for the tank wall. This is then capped with a ‘C’ Section to provide an extra aesthetic finish for the tank.

This final outcome has totally surpassed our anticipation in providing a strong, durable and cost effective water storage tank for our customers. This is proven in the fact that all of our current sales consist of tanks from our Galaxy range

Pioneer Water Tanks manufacture tanks from 6000 litres up to 2.65 million litres.
Each tank will receive the necessary attention to detail to make sure that it suits and services our client’s needs.

All the tanks have the necessary structural engineering to suit rural/domestic and commercial uses, with specific engineering being carried out for specialised requirements.

Depending on the clients’ needs our Galaxy water tanks can be designed to suit earthquake zones, cyclonic regions, heavy industrial or highly specialised environments. These requirements are not uncommon and can be easily accommodated to allow the best possible solution for most situations.

The Galaxy water tank combines strength, the V8-80 profile, with an aesthetic appeal, no protruding bolts due to the innovative, fully enclosed bolt cap.
